SYBC are passionate beer nerds that answered a call to brew for Houston, Spring, and Conroe. For years Jess developed a stock of home brewing equipment while moving from coast to coast in the Navy, evolving his brewing skills from nose-pinching bad batches to delicious brews. As of summer 2021, Southern Yankee is the second brewery in town to open up a second location. Their Montrose brewpub will be a bit more food focused than their Northside taproom, but if you’ve ever been to their OG location, you know to expect good things from their second one.
