Known For: Located in a 100+ year old building directly next to the train tracks. Possibly the smallest commercial brewery in the Houston area.

Henry and Chef Jay came together in the summer of 2013 to up the game of craft beer and food in Alvin. Gordon Street Tavern is a full-service restaurant, tavern, and brewpub. The Tavern has 34 craft taps featuring house brews, staple taps, and rotator taps. Few thought that craft beer could thrive in a semi-rural city. In 2014, the game of craft beer was accelerated once again when Gordon Street Tavern became a Brewpub and once again in 2017 by beginning a limited distribution pipeline.
